MAF operates in 2ļøā£9ļøā£ countries. Every country has an unicue culture, history, geography, opportunities and challenges but their communities have especially one thing in common: they are cut-off from basic needs like health, peace, life, education or even hope for a better future.
Chad is an interesting country with over 200 different ethnic and linguistic groups which is unevenly disributed. The most densely populated part of the country in the southern fifth of its territory, where about half of the nationās population lives.The country is ranked as the third poorest country in the world on the UN Human Development Index (2019). MAF has been serving Chad since 1966 with aviation services. Although there has been a steady improvement in the general living conditions in the capital and some urban centres, poverty in remote and isolated parts of the country is still high.
MAF fly outĀ doctors, teachers, relief and development workers, mission teams etc. to these remote areas - bringing life to those cut-off communities. Thanks to business partners like you, we can still operate in Chad working and serving together with a goal and belief of a better future for Chad.
